He's back! 96.5 TIC-FM's irrepressible Damon Scott is back for his eighth season as host of The Bushnell's homegrown comedy series. May contain adult subject matter.
The comedians to be featured in November are:
Tommy Anzalone is wacky, silly, goofy, funny...and very talented. He's a trained opera singer who plays a mean guitar. Hailing from upstate New York, Tommy is a musical comedian, with some prop humor and characters too. He has been on "America's Funniest People" (ABC), Showtime Comedy Club Network, radio's "All Things Considered" (NPR), and Comedy Central and he has opened for the musical group, Chicago. He has performed at New York City's Laugh Factory, Atlantic City and Las Vegas' Tropicana Hotels, and Carnival and Royal Caribbean cruise lines.
Jesse Joyce has performed live as part of the Comedy Central on Campus College Tour, The Great American Comedy Festival, and, since 2007, he's been a part of the nationally touring Comedy Addiction Tour featuring four comedians tackling the subject of their own addiction and recovery performing in theaters nationwide. Jesse has also opened for such noted comedians as Jimmy Fallon, Tracey Morgan, Gilbert Gottfried, George Lopez, Brett Butler, Frank Caliendo, Jeff Dunham, and more.
His TV credits include "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," AMC's "Date Night," "Entertainment Tonight," "RedEye" on FOXNews, Lifetime, and Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham." Jesse is also a contributing writer for Comedy Central's Roasts of Joan Rivers, Larry The Cable Guy, Bob Saget and Flava Flav as well as the TBS Celebrity Roast of Cheech and Chong plus several shows at the TBS Comedy Festival in Las Vegas. Jesse also acted as a member of the "panel of experts" in the book The Complete Idiot's Guide to Jokes.
His debut CD "Joyce To The World" is played regularly on XM and Sirius Satellite Radio. Jesse is also regularly heard on the Bob and Tom morning show (in addition to being featured on their CD, As Big As A Hat) and The Montreal Comedy Hour on the CBC in Canada.
Al Lubel is offbeat and original. His lifestyles along with his comedy are both living proof. Before he became a comic he was a lawyer. How's that for a career change? Yes, from legal Beagle to court jester. He graduated from law school in Florida then, moved to Los Angeles. Then, he passed the California Bar Exam and started a comedy career instead.
Al Lubel was one of the $100,000 Grand Prize winners for comedy on Star Search. He was also one of the last comics to ever appear with Johnny Carson on "The Tonight Show." Lubel has also been on "The Late Show with David Letterman" numerous times and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on NBC. His other TV appearances include "Bill Walton's Long Strange Trip" on ESPN, "Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist" on Comedy Central, "Win Ben Stein's Money" on Comedy Central, "A Stand-up Life" on Showtime, HBO, and A&E. Al currently lives in New York City.
