Costumed interpreters celebrate one of the biggest holidays in 1830s New England (behind Independence Day) with demonstrations of hearthside cooking, a Meetinghouse program, and an after-dinner target shoot (the equivalent of today's football games).
Learn the table manners and holiday traditions of early 19th-century New Englanders by observing them at their Thanksgiving Day celebrations and dinner. For an extra fee, enjoy an 1830s-style Thanksgiving Feast in the Bullard Tavern (for members) or Oliver Wight Tavern. Reservations required.
