Nick Jonas Admits He's the Reason the Jonas Brothers Split

Nick Jonas is coming clean.

The Jonas Brothers sadly broke up in October 2013, and since then fans of the beloved boy band have received vague explanations as to why they decided to call it quits. Shortly after disbanding, the brothers appeared on "Good Morning America" to try to calm the brewing storm.

"I think it was time, and for us it took some time getting there, but we feel like it's time that the Jonas Brothers come to an end," Kevin [Jonas] said.

At the time, Nick added that he "initiated" the conversations and shared that they had been fighting for a little while.

"In a nutshell, I said, 'Look, I feel like we've had some complications within the group for a long time without addressing them," Nick recounted. "I think this train will fall off the tracks without really getting real about some of the concerns and some of the limitations that we may feel as individuals in the group.'"

On Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" Tuesday, Nick further addressed the breakup and finally admitted that he didn't just initiate the breakup — he was the entire reason for it.

"It was a very tough conversation, and it left the family kind of shaken up for a little while. I mean we were about to start a tour. We were two days from starting a tour," he revealed. Of course, everything turned out well for Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas.

"We're good now. I have a beautiful niece. My brother has a family. Joe's band DNCE is doing very well," Nick said. "It's good for everybody and it's good that it happened because I think we all grew from it, but it was very challenging for a little while."

Nick has also experienced nothing but success since going solo, having released two chart-topping albums. He has been busy promoting his most recent project, "Last Year Was Complicated," appearing on various shows and opening up about the album's inspiration and telling hilarious anecdotes.

Just the other day the "Jealous" crooner recalled the time he ate a weed lollipop and experienced an unexpected erection on the red carpet of the Young Hollywood Awards.

"Out of nowhere, I get a NARB," Jonas shared on "The Tonight Show" before host Jimmy Fallon chimed in with some confusion. "A NARB is a no apparent reason boner."
